St Mary's Church Jigsaw Festival has been hailed as a huge Hitchin hit.

All the pieces fell into place at this weekend's successful Jigsaw Festival in Hitchin.

St Mary's Church was the site for the jigsaw-related jamboree in the heart of our town.

Kind-hearted puzzlers donated a number of new and pre-loved jigsaw sets to the event with volunteers also baking cakes for visitors to enjoy.

St Mary's also featured a whopping 18,000 piece puzzle on display, with raffle prizes also on offer to punters.

Organisers said: "Thanks to all who supported the event."
