Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) has announced that its much-loved Strictly Air Ambulance fundraiser will return in 2026 – and organisers say it will be the most spectacular edition yet.

The news comes after this year's show raised an impressive £58,000 to support the charity's life-saving work across Hertfordshire, Essex and the wider region.

Taking place on Saturday 14 March 2026 at the Brentwood Centre, the glitzy live show will see seven dance pairs – a mix of amateur and professional dancers – compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy, all while raising vital funds to help keep EHAAT's helicopters in the air.

Crowd favourites Lisa Snowdon and ITV presenter David Whiteley will return to host the evening. They'll be joined by a star-studded judging panel featuring:

  • TV personality and influencer Dani Dyer
  • Strictly Come Dancing professional Vincent Simone and professional partner Victoria Martin
  • Chelmsford Dance Centre Director and Head Judge Phil Meacham
  • British National Professional Showdance Champion Ben Milan-Vega

The 2026 event will bring a brand-new TV and film theme, promising one of the most dazzling nights in the charity's fundraising calendar.

EHAAT says support from sponsors, ticket buyers and donors is crucial in helping its critical care teams continue delivering life-saving treatment across our region. The charity is currently seeking a headline sponsor, along with raffle and auction prize partners.
