Two drug dealers who were part of a network supplying drugs in the North Herts area have been jailed for more than seven years in total.

The pair were arrested after a series of warrants were conducted in North Hertfordshire in August 2024 and in Biggleswade in October 2024, following an investigation into the supply of cocaine in North Herts between April 2023 and August 2024. During the operation Class A drugs and mobile phones, used to run the 'Captain' drugs line, were seized.

The two men appeared at Peterborough Crown Court on Friday 1 July, after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs (cocaine, heroin and crack cocaine) were sentenced to:

Reece Nicholls, aged 24, of Mill Road, St Ippolyts, sentenced to three years and nine months

Lewis Nicholls, aged 27, of Mill Road, St Ippolyts, sentenced to three years and four months

Two other people were also sentenced in relation to the investigation, they were:

Kim Galbraith, aged 36, of Chatterton, Letchworth Garden City, sentenced to two years, suspended for two years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs

Craig Bell aged 46, of Jarden, Letchworth Garden City, sentenced to two years, suspended for two years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs

Detective Sergeant Chris Cowell, from the constabulary's County Lines Investigation Unit, said: "These two men were responsible for supplying Class A drugs to customers in the North Herts area, via the 'Captain' county line. The disruption of this will make a considerable impact on drug supply and associated crime across the area.
