Hitchin Beano writer, Danny Pearson will be signing BEANO books, talking about comic writing and sharing insights into all things BEANO

No need to book, fancy dress welcome.

................ SATURDAY EVENING Hitchin Christmas Lights Switch On Get ready for the big Hitchin Christmas Light Switch On! Hitchin's Christmas Lights switch on kicks off at 12pm on Saturday [November 20] with a host of acts on stage, Santa's Parade and live music from Hitchin favourites, The New Town Centres. There will also be a great programme of events including music from Somewhere2Sing, The Offley Choir, The Rock Choir and Glee Choir. From 12pm Free

SUNDAY AFTERNOON Pete Woodroffe's Sunday Showcase featuring Rowan Scourfield and Rafael Monteiro

Rowan Scourfield and Rafael Monteiro will be performing at the showcase from 3-6pm.

Priory School pupil Rowan is a talented young singer songwriter and has already been writing songs for six years. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, drums and bass.

Free entry and there is a bar available at True Gents Barbers
