Lunana: A yak in the classroom -  Studio at the Queen Mother Theatre

A teacher, in search of inspiration, travels to the most remote school in the world, where he ends up realizing how important his job is and appreciating the value of yak dung. 

Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom is a 2019 Bhutanese drama film directed by Pawo Choyning Dorji in his feature directorial debut. 

The film had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. It was a nominee for Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards

Vegan Market at the Riverside in Hitchin

Our town's renowned Vegan Market is back and they're taking over the Riverside again in the heart of Hitchin town centre. 

As usual, the event will bring together an incredible selection of vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers, small-batch soapers, local artists, zero-waste champions and loads more.

So, save the date: Saturday, February 25. 

Organisers say: "The Hitchin Vegan Market is back and we're taking over the Riverside again - see you there."

Headway Hertfordshire Spinathon

We are having a Spinathon at Westminster Lodge on Saturday, February 25 from 11am to 3pm

There are four one-hour sessions with some of the sessions led by an international Tri-Athlete.

If you would like to join in the fun please call 0300 330 1455 to book a place at £10 per hour.
