Witness and dash cam appeal after Hitchin assault

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following an assault in Hitchin.

At around 5.30pm on Thursday 12 December, an altercation took place on Pirton Road, near to the junction with High View.

A man was reportedly assaulted, causing injury to his ribs, before the suspect got into his vehicle and drove off.

PC Shane Ludman, who is investigating, said: "I am appealing for anyone who may have saw what happened to please get in touch.

"Were you driving in the area at the time and recorded any dash cam footage, or have any further information to assist our investigation? Please email me at [email protected], or upload your footage to herts.police.uk/dashcamupload."
