Zizzi launches fresh menu and new app – with chance for Hitchin diners to win free pasta for a year

Zizzi restaurants across the UK – including the popular Hitchin branch – are celebrating a fresh new era this autumn with a revamped menu, a brand-new app, and a nationwide giveaway offering 132 people the chance to win free pasta for an entire year.
The Italian chain has rolled out a completely updated food and drink menu across all its restaurants, introducing a full fresh pasta range made with free-range eggs and British flour. New pasta shapes, including chitarra (square spaghetti), mafaldine (ruffled ribbons) and casareccia (short twists), now feature across the menu.
Diners can tuck into new dishes such as Truffle Cacio e Pepe, Meatballs Alla Vodka and Pesto Verde Burrata, while classic favourites like Pomodoro, Chorizo Carbonara and Bolognese Classico have been upgraded using the new chitarra pasta.
Win free pasta for a year
To celebrate, Zizzi is encouraging customers to embrace the inevitable twirl-and-slurp chaos by taking part in its Fresh Pasta Face competition. One diner from each of Zizzi's 132 restaurants – including Hitchin – will win a free pasta dish every week for a year.
To enter, customers must:
- Visit any Zizzi (or order via Click & Collect or delivery)
- Enjoy their favourite pasta
- Post a photo of their 'Fresh Pasta Face' on Instagram, tagging @WeAreZizzi, the restaurant location and using #FreshPastaFace
Entries are open until the end of 2025, with winners selected by a judging panel. Full details and examples are available at zizzi.co.uk/freshpastaface.
New dessert, new drinks and a new look
Zizzi has also added a playful new Candy Floss Dolce to its dessert menu – complete with dragon fruit sorbet and freshly spun candy floss – and introduced a Wild Strawberry Daiquiri, also topped with candy floss, thanks to brand-new machines installed in all restaurants.
Visitors to the Hitchin branch will also notice refreshed interiors, featuring original murals by independent artists, colourful Tuscan-inspired décor and vibrant new tableware.
New Zizzi app launches
The chain has launched a new app for its loyalty club, Zillionaires, allowing customers to book tables, collect points and redeem rewards. Until 28 November, app users can enjoy 30% off food, giving Hitchin diners a chance to try the new dishes for less.
