Hitchin Town announce pre-season friendly against League One Stevenage

Mark Burke's Canaries have confirmed that there will be a North Herts derby next month against near-neighbours Stevenage.

Steve Evans' Boro ended the 2022-23 season in second place in League Two after an excellent season to gain promotion to the third tier.

The Top Field clash promises to be a fixture not to miss as both sides ramp up their preparations for the 2023-24 season.

The match will take place on Tuesday, July 11 at Fishponds Road, with a 745pm kick-off.

As reported by Hitchin Nub News earlier this week here the Canaries are set to play a series of pre-season friendlies in addition to their eagerly-awaited fixture against Stevenage.
