Stevenage beat Scunthorpe 3-1 at the Lamex on Saturday to climb out of the League Two relegation places.
A first half brace from the impressive Charlie Carter and a late strike from QPR loanee Aramide Oteh sealed victory after Dev Green put the visitors ahead in the fifth minute.
The win capped an excellent festive period for Alex Revell's Boro after they gleaned seven points from nine.
