Stevenage host Championship side Swansea in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday at the Lamex.
Nub News will be there covering the big clash as Alex Revell's men aim to make waves with another giant-killing.
Boro made headlines when they beat League One leaders Hull City in north Herts last month and will be hoping for more of the same against the Premier League promotion chasers from south Wales this weekend.
This season's run has already added to Stevenage's tradition of proud FA exploits - here's staunch fan Owen Rodbard on his must-read take on the club.
................
The FA cup holds many great memories for me, as I'm sure it does for every other Boro fan.
Taking Spurs to a replay, knocking Newcastle out - and a little before my time, the misfortune of 98.
The so called 'magic' of the cup is still well and alive (even without fans in the stadiums) and Boro will be looking to recreate heroics of the past against a tough Swansea side this weekend.
The 'Swans' currently sit second in the championship, unbeaten in four games and keeping clean sheets in all.
However, Boro will be looking to force another cup upset after two impressive wins in the last week.
Alex Revells squad have looked like a new team coming into 2021. Energetic, creative and defensively astute.
This was prominent in the last round when we beat a high flying Hull on penalties. Keeping the tempo fast, pressing high up the pitch and forcing mistakes were key in the very impressive win.
After a horrible summer of waiting for news of potential relegation, missing out on countless transfer targets and an expectedly tough start to the season, the team looks like it's starting to turn the corner.
This season was always going to be tough after the dismal way we ended the 19-20 season.
However, Revs has bought his own ethos into this club. He clearly wants to play attacking, exciting and front footed football.
We've had occasional glimpses of this in games against Pompey and Oldham notably.
This hasn't materialised in every game, however you can see his master plan starting to show on the pitch.
The timely uprise in form of Charlie Carter and the return from injury of Jack Aitchinson have no doubt fuelled this sudden upturn in form we have seen over the last three weeks.
But I believe the appointment of Dean Wilkins as assistant manager has added some calmness and experience to our coaching staff that has given us that clinical touch that we were maybe lacking before Christmas.
Football is a strange sport. One result can twist the fate of a whole season.
One player addition, or in the case of Stevenage, just the eventual click of the team.
Players like Jack Smith and Terrence Vancooten have come on leaps and bounds since being introduced back into the first team picture and we can expect to see them starting this weekend.
Seemingly the trust that Revell has on young players to perform week in week out has payed off.
From what Revs has told me about how he wants to play and what plans he has for the future, I know we are in safe hands.
And as he said to me when my dad passed away 'We will prove him right. We will get the good days back and a team that would make him proud. That's all I want to do. Bring exciting, passionate football back'
Hope everyone has a great 2021 - and come on the Boro!
