Stevenage host a free scoring Exeter side at the Lamex on Tuesday as they look to make it two wins on the bounce in League Two.

After Matty Stevens' last gasp winner against Grimsby on Saturday, Alex Revell's side will head into the game full of confidence and looking for revenge after a 3-1 loss to the Grecians just 10 days ago.

Form

Boro have showed encouraging form since the new year, with their last five matches resulting in two wins, two draws and one loss.

While only two defeats in eight has seen them pull four points clear of the relegation zone with Revell's side sitting comfortably in 21st place.

Exeter have continued their steady form coming into February, however two losses to promotion rivals Morecambe and Carlisle have stalled their hunt for the play offs.

In their last five games they won one game, drew two and lost two.

Team news

Chris Lines will be hopeful of a return after training all week and missing out against Grimsby.

Last minute winner hero Matty Stevens is in contention for a place in the starting 11. No fresh injuries have been reported for Boro.

Dangermen

Exeter can boast the feat of being the top scorers in the league. Matt Jay has hit 11 goals, Ryan Bowman has scored 10 and Joel Randall has netted eight.

Head to head

The two teams only met less than two weeks ago in the league, with Exeter the 3-1 victors at St James Park on that occasion.

However, Boro's overall record against the Devon outfit in the league is bleak. They've met 15 times in league football and these games have resulted in seven losses, six draws and two wins.

Alex Revell previews the match

"We are where we are in the league, we're working really hard to get away from that, but if you've got that togetherness, team spirit and a willingness to give everything for each other then it counts.

"We are a smaller club and we want to make sure as a club we're all in it together and that the players on the pitch show how much it means to them."
