Stevenage host an in-form Morecambe side on Saturday at the Lamex.
Alex Revell's side will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 1-0 loss to Exeter on Tuesday.
Boro have been boosted by the signing Derby striker Jahmal Hector-Ingram and Tottenham midfielder Jack Roles on loan until the end of the campaign.
Hector-Ingram, 22, has made seven appearances for the Rams this season, all coming off the bench, while Cyprus international Roles, 21, spent the first half of the season on loan at Burton Albion in League One.
Both players could feature for Revell's side the weekend
Form
Boro come into the game with inconsistent form. One win in five has faltered an otherwise impressive start to 2021.
They currently sit in 21st position, four points above the relegation zone.
Their last five games have produced one win, two draws and two losses.
Promotion hunting Morecambe will be hoping for three points to help in their hunt for promotion.
They currently sit in 6th position, only one point behind Carlisle who occupy the last automatic promotion spot.
The Shrimps last five games have ended with two wins, one draw and two losses.
Team news
Alex Revell was hopeful that experienced heads Luke Prosser, Scott Cuthbert and Chris Lines will be back in contention for the game after returning back to training.
Ross Marshall will be assessed after limping off with ten minutes to go on Tuesday night.
New signings Roles and Hector-Ingram will be looking to make their debut.
Head to head
Boro boast a very impressive head to head record against Morecambe. The teams have met 14 times in league football.
Boro have claimed the bragging rights on eight occasions, with five draws and a solitary loss which came back in April 2017.
Last time the teams met Boro were the victors, with one of their only three wins in the entire season coming against the Shrimps back in October of 2019.
Danger men
Boro's defence will need to stay alert throughout the 90 as Morecambe have a variety of goal-scorers throughout the team.
Adam Phillips has hit 10 goals, Carlos Gomes Mendes has scored 8 while Cole Stockton has 5.
Alex Revell looks to the game
"The biggest frustration (of Tuesday) was that we had chances in the first half to execute what we wanted and ultimately it's a really poor goal to concede.
"That's the annoyance for everyone.
"We wanted to make sure that we bounced back after Exeter last time, we got a draw and a win and now we've got to do it all again.
"We'll be ready for Saturday to bounce back and learn from the mistakes."
