I'm a local resident based in Hertfordshire, and I wanted to share a community art project I've been working on.

I've created a series of hand-painted folk art pieces on recycled cardboard, focusing on nostalgic football history—such as the classic Hereford v Newcastle FA Cup match from 1972. The project, titled "A Place to Belong," uses these shared memories to spark gentle conversations around men's mental health, community connection, and shared history in a low-pressure way.

I've put together an online gallery page where people can view the artwork and read more about the project:https://2minutespast8.blogspot.com/p/memorable-moments_0863971824.html

I thought it might be of interest to local readers who enjoy football nostalgia and community initiatives.
