FOR the second time this week the Met Office has issued a 'severe weather warning' for our area including Hitchin and North Herts.

On Tuesday the alert was raised in anticipation of heavy rain, which duly arrived in some parts last evening.

A number of councillors left a meeting of the county council on Tuesday (July 20), after it emerged at least one councillor had been 'pinged' by Track and Trace.
