Think you know Hitchin? Put your skills to the test at PASS GO FOR GRIT - a fast-paced, town-wide treasure hunt inspired by the classic board game.

Race across Hitchin visiting participating local organisations and in each window or just outside you'll find one or more hidden letters. Collect them all and rearrange them to reveal a mystery sentence.

The first person to return with the correct sentence in the fastest time wins.

Along the way you'll discover amazing local businesses, explore the town and take part in a fun community challenge raising money for Growing Resilience in Teens (GRIT) - a local charity who support young people with their mental health and wellbeing through coaching and non contact boxing.

Welcoming walkers, runners, joggers aged 15+.

How it works

• Start at the event registration point in Hitchin town centre - tbc
• Receive your board
• Visit participating businesses to collect hidden letter(s)
• Rearrange the letters to reveal the mystery sentence
• Return to the finish with your completed answer
• The fastest correct entry wins.
