Join us for a brilliant afternoon of summer fun at Pirton Summer Fair on Saturday 11th July 2026 from 1pm to 6pm.

As regular visitors know all too well, we bring you a wonderful range of craft and gift stalls, fairground rides to keep the children busy, a plethora of food choices and, of course, the fabulous live entertainment in the Centre ring.

With a nod to it being a World Cup summer we are thrilled that professional football freestyler Jay Rosa will be joining us in the Centre Ring. The Canaries fans among you will have seen him perform recently at the Hitchin Town FC playoffs, and we are delighted that he is returning to Hertfordshire to provide us with another superb display of dynamic ball control and trickery, with a brief opportunity for budding footballers, young and old, to join in and give it a go. @jayrosa1_

Jay's demonstration will be sandwiched between a huge variety of musical acts - the Centre Ring entertainment being opened by the Pirton Community Choir, followed by the ever popular show of young musical theatre talents from Ickle Drama. New to the ring this year will be the Garden City Samba band bringing Brazil's dynamic musical rhythms to the recreation ground, getting everyone into the spirit of the day. We will also have live music from several PSSC favourites throughout the day which will continue into the evening for those who don't want the fun to end, but the fair will officially close, as always, with the highly competitive Tug O' War. For those that were with us last year and witnessed the rope breaking during the men's challenge will be pleased to know we have a brand new, reinforced rope, so this year the men will get to show their strength more than once!

The super new pavilion will be open throughout the afternoon serving drinks at the bar, with tea and cakes available, and the ever popular Pimms Tent and outdoor bar will help to ensure that everyone can get liquid refreshments when they need them.
