RNLI Hitchin and District Branch is holding its annual flag day and stall in Hitchin town centre from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm to raise funds for the RNLI's volunteers saving lives at sea, with this year marking the 25th anniversary of the RNLI Lifeguards seen at so many of our beaches. As well as collectors around the town centre we will have a stall selling bric a brac and RNLI merchandise as well as handing out badges and information leaflets. There will also be a Treasure Island game to find the buried pirates' treasure. Please come down and support your local volunteer fundraisers.
