Join us for an evening that spans the elegance of the Classical era and the soaring vision of Romanticism. Haydn's Symphony No. 104 'London', the last of the symphonies composed during his celebrated London visits, sparkles with wit, warmth and irresistible energy, culminating in a jubilant folk-inspired finale. In contrast, Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 'Romantic' evokes a world of medieval castles, distant hunting calls and sweeping landscapes. From Haydn's brilliance and charm to Bruckner's epic scale and breathtaking orchestral colours, this concert promises a captivating journey through two masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire.
