It's the story everyone is talking about in Hitchin - Harry Styles is in town!

As Hitchin Nub News exclusively revealed earlier here the former One Direction megastar is here filming his new flick.

The film is called My Policeman with Harry, Bafta winning actor Rupert Everett and Emma Corrin, who starred as Diana in the Netflix hit series The Crown.

A raft of cameramen along with outside catering companies have decamped on Butts Close and the car park off Fishponds Road.

The area has turned into a film set with the fence along the walk to Archers Gym blacked out as you can see by our pictures, with most staff staying tight-lipped.

However, undeterred, Nub News has found out for you that the 27-year-old former One Direction star, along with other big names are in Hitchin with Amazon Prime, who are shooting at our outdoor pool.

The news prompted a number of Styles' passionate fans to pay a visit to the area in the hope that they might catch a glimpse of their much-loved hero.

Lauren Mason, 23, from Hitchin, was one of the legion of loyal fans outside the pool.

Lauren, who works in Stevenage, drove back to Hitchin in her lunch break to see if she could catch sight of her idol.

Speaking to Hitchin Nub News bubbly Lauren said: "I've been a massive fan of his since the X-Factor and One Direction.

"I've liked him for a long time and I like all his solo stuff now. Everything that he does in his career interests me.

"I've come on my lunch break to see if I can get a glimpse of him - it'd be silly not to!

"I've had a walk around and unfortunately you can't see much - but at least I can say I'm breathing in the same air," laughed good-natured Lauren.

An Amie @_amessx wrote jokingly on Twitter: "This is so close and I'm about to die'
