Hitchin Town 5-0 Harpenden.

Read our Hitchin Nub News PLAYER RATINGS as Mark Burke's Canaries eased past the Harps in the club's first match back at Top Field for 185 days.

1: Charles Horlock: 7- A quiet evening for the talented keeper. Replaced early in the second half as Dan Weaver grabbed valuable playing time

2: Kade Abbey-Stephens: 7 - Solid all night against the Harps

3: Jhai Dhillon: 7.5 - The former Stevenage academy player is making waves in the business world as well as on planet football. An intelligent defender with excellent positioning while alert to supplementing colleagues further forward when the situation arose. Subbed for Cardines at the break

4: Josh Coldicott-Stevens: 7.5 - Excellent strike to steer home the Canaries second goal 20 minutes into the match. Confident passer as he sprayed the ball precisely to teammates feet

5: Harvey Sule: 7.5 - Good to see him talk through younger colleagues including Gough alongside him. A solid presence from the Rizzle Kicks star - and who'd have ever thought that line would be included in a player ratings report from Top Field

6: Marlow Gough: 7 - Technically proficient with a languid style. Wonderful to see a centre-back at this level bring the ball out of defence while being pragmatic when required. Learning all the time, one to watch, especially if you savour elegant No6's

7: Max Ryan: 7 - Lively. Kept the Harps on their toes throughout with his constant prompting.

8: Lewis Barker: 7.5 - Strong in the air, winning plenty of aerial duels. A strong presence in the heart of battle.

9 Steve Cawley: 7.5 - Persistent and hard-working as he foraged up front. Deserved his close range goal moments before the interval to make it three for Mark Burke's in-form Canaries. His last action of the game after Burke replaced him with Goldbourne at the break

10: Callum Stead: 7.5 - Slammed home from close range barely 120 seconds into the return of football at Top Field to give loyal fans something to cheer about after 185 long days without their Canaries fix

11: Ziddane Gourgel Sequeia: 7 - Former Sporting Lisbon academy prospect has a lot to live up to with his first name similar to the 1998 World Cup winning creative talent, now boss of Real Madrid. Like his namesake he is not afraid to shoot. Excellent technique.

Subs:

14: Luca Cardines on for Jhai Dillon at the half time

15: Marcus Goldbourne replaced Steve Cawley during the interval. Curled the Canaries fourth in the 55th minute with a well-placed drive.

13: Dan Weaver: Burke opted to take off keeper Horlock ten minutes after the interval.

12: Nikolai Rusev came on for Callum Stead moments after the fourth goal and enjoyed a comfortable evening
