Angry dog owner smashes glass bottle and threatens to punch fellow dog walker after being politely told aggressive bulldog should wear muzzle

Appeal following incident in Stevenage
Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following an incident in Stevenage.
On Friday, September 9, at around 245pm, the victim was walking her dog in Fairlands Valley Park when they were approached by a brown bulldog, which became aggressive.
The victim then told the dog's owner that his dog was behaving aggressively and should be wearing a muzzle.
It was reported that the owner, who was described as a white man in his mid 20s and was said to be wearing a black coat with black bottoms, became verbally abusive towards her.
He then allegedly threatened to punch her, before smashing a glass bottle on the floor near the victim. He then made off on foot.
PC Claire Warnock, who is investigating, said: "I know some time has passed since the date this incident took place, but we have exhausted all lines of enquiry and are now asking the public for their help.
"Understandably, this was a frightening incident for the victim and this sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable. If you witnessed this incident, or have any information that you think could assist with our investigation, please get in touch."
