Residents and staff at Milford Lodge came together to support breast cancer awareness by taking part in the annual Wear It Pink campaign.

The home was filled with shades of pink as everyone dressed in their brightest outfits to raise awareness of breast cancer and show support for those affected by the disease.

To mark the occasion, staff baked a selection of delicious homemade pink-themed cupcakes and biscuits, which were enjoyed by residents throughout the day. The tasty treats added to the fun atmosphere and helped make the event extra special.

Residents also took part in a range of themed activities, including word searches, quizzes and games. The engaging sessions encouraged everyone to get involved, socialise and learn more about the importance of breast cancer awareness.

Care Home manager Lindsey said: "It was wonderful to see residents and staff coming together for such an important cause. Everyone had a fantastic time taking part in the activities and enjoying the homemade treats."

The day was a great success, bringing smiles, conversation and a sense of community while supporting a cause that touches the lives of many people. Residents thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations and were proud to take part in raising awareness through the Wear It Pink campaign.
