The Hitchin Priory Summer Series announces the full line-up for its highly anticipated second year, bringing an array of legendary artists and unforgettable live performances to the historic grounds of Hitchin Priory in North Hertfordshire. With a capacity of 8,000, this open-air concert series promises to be one of the biggest, must-attend music events of summer 2025.

Kicking off the festivities on Thursday, 28 August, the legendary Nile Rodgers & CHIC will bring their timeless blend of disco, funk, and soul to Hitchin. Audiences can expect hit after hit from one of the most influential figures in modern music. Joining them on the night will be Heatwave, renowned for classics like Boogie Nights and Always and Forever, while Crazy P (DJ) will set the mood with their signature mix of house and disco.

On Friday, 29 August, British pop sensation Jess Glynne will take to the stage for a night of powerhouse vocals and chart-topping anthems, including Hold My Hand and Don't Be So Hard on Yourself.

Saturday, 30 August is a must-see for indie rock fans as The Wombats and Razorlight team up for an electrifying night of music. Both bands played a pivotal role in shaping the 2000s indie scene, and this show will see them perform their biggest hits in one of Hertfordshire's most stunning open-air venues. Expect anthems, high energy, and a crowd ready to sing along.

Closing the series on Sunday, 31 August, the Hertfordshire Reggae Fest will take over, bringing a day of sunshine, rhythm, and positive vibes. Headlining the festival is UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, ensuring an unforgettable reggae celebration. The lineup also boasts performances from Aswad, David Rodigan, Don Letts, Bitty McLean, Dawn Penn, and the legendary Trojan Sound System, making it a dream event for reggae lovers.

Following a hugely successful debut in 2024, which saw performances from Busted, Dizzee Rascal, Craig David, De La Soul, and more, Hitchin Priory Summer Series 2025 promises an even bigger and better experience. Just 30 minutes from King's Cross, this event is set to be a highlight of the summer festival calendar.

Rob Waller of Soundcrash said: "We're thrilled to bring such an incredible line-up back to Hitchin for a second year. The response to last year's event was phenomenal, and we can't wait to welcome even more music fans for another unforgettable summer of live performances."

Artists set to perform are equally as excited, with music legend Nile Rodgers saying: "We are so excited to be bringing you all of the hits in an 'all killer no filler' dance party at the Hitchin Priory Summer Series!"
