New bench in our town centre designed by Hitchin Hackspace in collaboration with Tom Hardy and his team

Have you seen a new bench in Hitchin town centre?

When passing through the centre of Hitchin why not take a look at a new bench located outside NatWest Bank at the entrance to High Street.

Hitchin town centre boss Tom Hardy told Hitchin Nub News: "The bench was inspired by a similar one in Glastonbury which Amy Shields who previous worked in the information Centre encouraged me to look into for Hitchin.

"We worked with Hackspace on Bancroft who designed the bench and make the project a reality.

"It's small installations like these that keep the streets of Hitchin interesting and gives the public a nice feature to appreciate."
