Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following a common assault in Hitchin.  

At around 4pm on Tuesday 25 October, a woman was walking in Walsworth Common when a man approached her and grabbed her by the arm. No injuries were reported and nothing was taken. The woman ran off to seek help.  

PC Manuela Ungureanu, who is investigating, said: "This was a frightening incident for the victim, and we are doing all we can to trace the suspect. We are releasing an image of a man who may be able to help our enquiries as it is believed he was in the area at the time. If this is you, or you recognise this man, please contact me at [email protected] quoting crime reference 41/87143/22."
