“Hitchin Beach” opens for the summer

This Tuesday, under battleship grey clouds, the brave folk of Hitchin ventured out to visit the newly opened summer town beach.
Located in the Market Place from 29th July – 31st August, children will be able to bring their buckets and spades to play in the sand.
There are also deck chairs, children's rides and activities happening throughout.
Visit Hitchin are encouraging people to "come down and enjoy the fun!"
