At tonight's (17th June) Hitchin Community Forum the popular local club will look to secure support for its mission.

As set out in their application for £651 worth of funding the Bubble Works Run Community is a running club founded on being a social, inclusive and  fun group that brings people of all capabilities together.

The membership is completely free and includes over 500 members, with at least 90% based in Hitchin.

The club are fundraising £400 themselves which - if successful with their application for a community grant - will allow them to:

-Hire Ridlins Athletics Track in Stevenage for two separate sessions,

-Provide coach travel to attend the iconic half marathon race in Cambridge – for runners and supporters in Hitchin.

-Provide training and relevant checks for a Welfare Officer for the club.
