A popular family business has caught ignorant fly-tippers on camera.

Like many in our area, Fabio Vincenti, who runs the renowned Fabio's Gelato stores in Hitchin and Letchworth town centres, has been struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Fabio's Gelato is an independently run small family business, who are passionate about producing great tasting homemade artisan gelato.

However, one thing they hadn't 't bargained for was paying for extra bin collections - caused by the despicable blight that is fly-tipping.

Fabio takes up the story.

"Not only do local businesses have rising costs spiralling out of control," he says, "We now have to pay for others fly tipping in our bins.

"We have footage of multiple trips filing up our bin to the point the lid doesn't close.

"We now need to call the council and pay for an extra collection for our own excess waste we can't fit in the bin."

As you can see by the images taken from Fabio's CCTV footage here, a man brazenly walks up to the bins that Fabio's pay their taxes for, and dumps his own detritus, which includes what looks to be a metal saucepan, thereby adding further weight to bin.

Weight that Fabio now has to pay, through no fault of his own, thanks to such anti-social behaviour that Nub News will always highlight in a bid to shame the culprits and help curb such disgusting behaviour in our community.

Fabio adds: "If you are the couple in this video please come and collect your rubbish and use the local free tip."
