Taking place at Bennett's Hall, Harpenden (behind the British Legion), the evening will bring together music, storytelling and community spirit in support of the AT Society, a charity that supports children and young people affected by Ataxia Telangiectasia.

Mike Hodge – affectionately known as the Harpenden Busker – is renowned locally for his warmth, humour and ability to bring people together through music. He describes the evening in his own words:

"Come and join us – and join in – for a relaxed, properly informal night out. I'll be sharing some favourite songs and a few stories from the past. The best songs come from somewhere below the heart, and the evening will be full of them. Audience participation is very much encouraged, with song sheets provided. We'll start at 7:30pm and sing through to around 8:30pm, when Godfreys will produce some truly excellent fish and chips. We'll then finish the evening with more songs and stories from 9:00pm, wrapping up at around 10:00pm. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the AT Society."

Doors open at 7:00pm, with the singalong beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets cost £25 per person and include Godfrey's fish and chips, with tickets available individually or in tables of ten.

Jason Feeley from Lyndhurst explained that "supporting community events like this reflects our belief that financial wellbeing and strong communities go hand in hand. We're proud to support an evening that brings people together while raising vital funds and awareness for an important cause."

"We hope to see many familiar faces there for what promises to be a memorable and feel‑good night out".
