Hitchin Street Food Monthly and Cantina Fiesta proudly present Taco Wars 2024
After a five year break, a lot of scores to settle and an insatiable love of all things taco based - Taco Wars is back.
This year's jam takes place in Hitchin Market Place with a mammoth taco session, DJ's and entertainment.
This year eight Hertfordshire based street food traders battle it out for the Tacowars Cup with their own take on the Perfect Taco.
Organsies say: "Taco lovers can buy a TacoWars ticket for the day which secures a taco from each vendor, soft drink or beer upon registration plus a Cantina Fiesta goody bag for the princely sum of £24 - that's £3 per taco plus a free beverage!"
The eagerly-awaited mouth-watering event is set to take place on Saturday May 18 from 11-5pm in Hitchin market square.
Attendance to this event is free but tickets are available for discounted tacos from all traders.
Alternatively all vendors will be selling their competition taco for £4 per taco if you only fancy dipping in for a few flavours.
The taco loving massive can then vote for their favourite taco and the winner will be crowned at 5pm on the day.
Organisers add: "Drumroll please as we introduce our streetfood superstar taco traders for 2024!
Organisers say: "This is going to be an absolute Taco Banger so get on those tickets good people."
