Hitchin: Man arrested in Westmill on suspicion of assault

A man has been arrested in Hitchin on suspicion of assault.

As you can see by our picture, three police cars and a police van were called to Redhill Road on Saturday lunchtime (June 4).

Herts Police told Hitchin Nub News: "We received a report at 1225pm on Saturday of an assault in the Redhill Road area.

"Officers have attended and arrested a male on suspicion of assault. He is currently in police custody."
