Over the weekend a local resident updated the "Ickleford Life Reborn" as to the future of the farm.

The new owners have reportedly said that they "looking forward to moving in at the farm and being a valued member of the community. The farm will be our home and we will be bringing back the horses soon. As you can appreciate there is much work to be done. We will NOT be developing the land for multiple homes. We are in the process of getting help from trades to renovate the property. We are happy for you to let people know that the farm will be well looked after."

The post went on to update that "the other part of LGF- 2 the Holdings aka 2 Lower Green, aka top yard, is still owned by HCC, and managed by Rural Estates. There was a tenant lined up but it recently fell through, it seems the tenancy agreement was not agreeable at all. HCC are having to re advertise this letting, using the agents Knight Frank".

137 people signed a petition calling on the County Council to preserve the farm as a equestrian centre back in January of last year.
