League Two: Extra catering drafted in for Stevenage's mouth-watering top of the table clash with Orient after tasty fixture sells out
Extra catering has been brought in to feed hungry punters after Stevenage's mouth-watering top of the table clash with Leyton Orient sold out this week.
Steve Evans Boro have been in excellent form throughout the 2022-23 League Two season that has seen them reach the heady heights of second spot. On Saturday they will host the division's long-time leaders in an eagerly-awaited fixture.
Stevenage earned a hard-fought point during the Boxing Day clash in East London which ended goalless, with Evans and his side relishing hosting Richie Wellens side this weekend.
Ahead of the match, the club said in a statement: "In anticipation of Saturday's sold-out fixture vs Leyton Orient, the Club has added extra catering options to ease congestion at The Lamex Stadium.
"A mobile catering van will be located just outside of Turnstiles 10 & 11 in the middle of the East Terrace, accessed through the exit gates with additional temporary fencing. Supporters will be able to access the catering van once inside the stadium through Exit 2 from 1.30pm.
'The club has also implemented an additional area for supporters to purchase hot food and drinks inside The 76 Lounge from 3.15pm which can be accessed via both side doors of the North Stand.
"Fans can move between The 76 Lounge and the Tea Bar area inside the North Stand to purchase food and drinks."
Boro have also been making waves in the FA Cup, with next weekend's clash against Championship side Stoke City a chance to progress to the fifth round.
