Confident With Tech founder Luke Vincent has left his phone shop job to focus full time on helping local people feel calmer, safer and more confident using everyday technology.

A friendly local tech support service is expanding after its founder decided to take the business full time.

Confident With Tech, founded by Luke Vincent, helps people who feel unsure, overwhelmed or frustrated with their phones, tablets, computers and everyday apps. The service offers patient one-to-one support for people who want technology explained in a simple, calm and friendly way.

Luke previously worked in a phone shop, where he regularly helped customers with device problems, app confusion, emails, photos, passwords, settings and online forms. After seeing how many people felt stressed or embarrassed about asking for help, he launched Confident With Tech to provide a more personal and reassuring service.

The business now supports customers across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, with help available in person or online.

Common sessions include help with smartphones, tablets, WhatsApp, emails, photos, printers, Wi-Fi, online forms, doctor appointment apps, online safety and scam awareness.

Luke said: "I've seen first-hand how stressful technology can feel when nobody has taken the time to explain it properly. Confident With Tech is about taking that stress away. I want people to feel calm, capable and confident using their devices, without feeling rushed or judged."

He added: "This isn't just about fixing a phone or setting up an app. It's about helping people feel more independent, more connected and less worried about the technology they use every day."
