Out of control car damages several vehicles on Hitchin's Brampton Park Road

Police were called at 5.26am on Saturday 14 June, to report a damage only road traffic collision involving a grey Volkswagen Golf and multiple parked vehicles on Brampton Park Road, Hitchin.

One resident on social media told of how his daughter's car had been parked outside their house and "written off".

Hertfordshire police have updated that one man has been arrested, and enquiries are ongoing at this time.

The Golf has been left abandoned without its numberplates on Duke's Lane
