A planning application has been submitted for five large homes on Green Belt land between Hitchin and Stevenage.

The proposals have been posted for new housing in Todds Green.

The scheme would see five large detached properties built, each offering at least four bedrooms and two bathrooms - with each residence offering off-road parking spaces, and electric charging facilities.

Cameron Bosque Brookes Architects submitted the project to Stevenage Borough Council earlier in March.

The plan involves land currently used for grazing horses on Chantry Lane, with a new access road promised to be built to relieve any possible future congestion caused.
