CCTV appeal following sexual assault in Stevenage 

Police are releasing the CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following an allegation of sexual assault in Stevenage.  

The incident occurred in the Asda car park at around 6.45pm on Tuesday 18 October. 

It was reported that whilst a woman was putting shopping into the boot of her car, a man approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her by touching her inappropriately and then left the scene. 

Detective Constable Quinlan, who is investigating, said: "This was a scary incident for the victim, and we are doing all we can to locate the suspect. We are releasing this CCTV image as we believe the man pictured was in the area at the time of the incident and may have important information that could assist with our investigation."
