Witness appeal after assault in Stevenage

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault in Stevenage.

The incident occurred at around midnight on Saturday (October 14) heading into Sunday, outside The Coopers Inn pub on Magpie Crescent.

It is reported that an altercation between a group of people occurred in the car park. 

PC Gemma Hutchinson, who is investigating, said: "Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch. 

"We believe the area may have been busy around this time, and there may be several witnesses who hold key information to help progress our investigation.

"If you have any information, no matter how small or insignificant you think the details you have may be, please contact me directly at [email protected]."
