Letchworth's Broadway Cinema is celebrating a major milestone after being named the 10th best performing independent cinema across the UK and Ireland—beating out much larger venues, including the iconic BFI IMAX.

The ranking highlights Broadway's growing success and the strong support it receives from the local community and audiences beyond North Hertfordshire.

"This is phenomenal news and it's all thanks to the loyal support from Letchworth and our wider audience," the cinema team said in a statement. "It's an incredible achievement for an independent venue like ours."

In addition to the accolade, Broadway also shared a sneak peek at the top five most popular films among its audiences so far this year:
