🎨 Saturday Evening
Felt Pumpkin Workshop – Make Your Own Happy
- When: Friday 24 Oct (but ideal to head early on Saturday evening too)
- Where: Shop Small Pop Up Shop, Churchyard, Hitchin
- What: A creative arts & crafts session where you can make your own "happy" felt pumpkin. A perfect pre-evening craft activity.
- Tip: Arrive just after shop hours if you want a more relaxed vibe, maybe grab a drink afterwards in the town.
Jigsaw Festival at St Mary's Church
- When: Friday 24 Oct – Saturday 25 Oct
- Where: St Mary's Church, Hitchin, Churchyard, Hitchin
- What: Fair-style events over two days. Even though it's listed to Friday-Saturday, Saturday evening still offers a chance to wander, maybe catch something unexpected.
- Tip: Early evening may be quieter and more comfy for browsing stalls and chatting with vendors.
🌿 Sunday Afternoon
Deep Time and Foraging Walk
- When: Sunday 26 Oct
- Where: Hartham Common, Hertford (a short trip from Hitchin)
- What: A nature walk combining deep-time thinking and foraging — a refreshing way to get outdoors and unwind your weekend.
- Tip: Wear sturdy shoes, bring a water bottle, and maybe pack a light snack for after the walk. If weather's iffy, bring a waterproof layer.

The Big Draw – North Herts College Hitchin campus

Wild West – a Rooting Tooting Musical
