Steve Evans promotion-chasing Stevenage fell to defeat at Mansfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
A first half goal by Davis Keillor-Dunn's goal piled on the pressure for Evans promotion-hopefuls.
However, despite the upper echelons of League Two being tightly-packed, Boro still remain in the automatic promotion slots, in third place.
With three matches remaining, Stevenage must now travel to the County Ground on Tuesday evening to take on Swindon Town.
Evans side then host Grimsby Town a week Saturday, prior to making the long trip to Cumbria to play Barrow after the Coronation on Monday, May 7.
