Stevenage will be looking to add to their four match unbeaten run in League Two as they travel to Crawley for a Tuesday night match writes Owen Rodbard

After the 0-0 stalemate with Tranmere at the Lamex on Saturday, Alex Revell's side will be looking to return to winning ways and continue their unbeaten start to 2021 in the league.

Form

Boro travel to Sussex in a rich vain of form. Only losing one out of their last five games, winning two and drawing two. With games in hand over the teams around them, this will no doubt be a crucial game in keeping that momentum going.

Crawley will be coming into the game full of confidence after beating Premier League Leeds in the fa cup last weekend- one of the biggest shocks in the competitions history.

The Red Devil's are also eight unbeaten in the league and currently only two points outside the play off places in eighth position.

Head to head

The two teams have met 14 times in the league. Both winning five times and drawing four of the meetings.

The last game between the two was the start of Revell's managerial tenure, however the game ended 2-0 to Crawley back in February of last year.

Early team news

Matty Stevens produced an impressive display after coming off the bench at half time at the weekend and will no doubt be on contention for a starting place. There are no fresh injury concerns for Boro.

Crawley come into the game with nine days rest after their game with Bradford was called off at the weekend due to the Bantams' positive Covid tests.

There are no injury concerns for the home side and new signings James Tilley and Jordan Maguire-Drew could make their debut.

Danger men

Crawley sold top scorer Max Watters to Cardiff for a reported seven figure sum on Saturday but players like Ashley Nadesen and Tom Nichols have been impressive throughout the season.

Keeper Glenn Morris is highly pipped as the best keeper in the league and George Francomb provides a solid base in midfield.

Alex Revell preview

"We've got to make sure that we're ready, and we will be. The good thing is is that the players are disappointed, because they know we were on a nice run and wanted to make it three (wins) on the bounce.

"It's a good sign to know you're in a good place when the players are disappointed that they haven't won the game"
