League Two: Stevenage require one win to secure promotion after 1-0 victory at Swindon

Jamie Reid was the matchwinner as Steve Evans Stevenage eased one step closer to plying their trade in League One next season after beating Swindon 1-0 at the County Ground on Tuesday evening.

Reid's 25th-minute strike ensures that if Boro beat Grimsby Town at the Lamex on Saturday they will secure automatic promotion.

Alex Gilbey cut the ball back to Reid, who fired into the bottom corner from six yards.

Danny Rose could have doubled Boro's lead shortly after the interval when Roberts picked him out at the back post, but he headed the ball back across goal and the chance was missed.
