Back the Boro: Stevenage one win away from from promotion - let's all get behind Steve Evans side at the Lamex and cheer them all the way into League One says Owen Rodbard.

As if Boro fans needed any more motivation to got down to The Lamex on Saturday, I can categorically say it's one of the biggest games in the club's history.

This week's win against Swindon not only showed solidity, it showed grit, determination and all that an Evans side is infamous for. They fought till the final whistle for a first win at The County Ground in 25 years.

It was not a stellar performance, but it emphasised why we're in the position to secure promotion at the weekend.

It sets us up perfectly for the game on the weekend against Grimsby. A win is needed for automatic promotion, but if other results go our way a draw might only be necessary to join Orient in League One next season.

Basically 13 years to the day since we secured our last automatic promotion away at Kidderminster, this is just one of those days that you just have to be there. It's one to tell the grandkids about.

Packed out Lamex, sun shining, so get down to support the boys on Saturday to hopefully get us over that line and to that fabled promotion.
