Will Collar's first half goal and and an injury time strike Ryan Rydel helped Stockport beat Stevenage 2-0 win in League Two on Saturday afternoon.

County's fourth straight win was well deserved as second place Boro's blip continued to leave them without a win in four.

Nub News writer and Stevenage fan Owen Rodbard was at Edgeley Park for the game. Read on for his Player Ratings:

Stevenage:

Savin: 4.5- Poor kicking at times, made some comfortable saves but at fault for the second goal

Smith: 4- Very poor game for the fullback, constantly being beat to the byline, struggled to deal with Hippolyte

Sweeney: 5- Relatively comfortable on the ball, was caught out a couple of times when the ball looped over him and nearly allowed Wootton in on goal

Bostwick: 4.5- Not much of note, did his job until he was hooked at half time to allow for a change of shape

Piergianni: 5- Looked off the pace, slow reactions when balls played in behind him, but made some crucial tackles to prevent Boro falling further behind

Reid: 5.5- Some bright moments, defended well against the dangerous Knoyle and had some positive bursts forward.

Gilbey: 4- Wayward passes, silly fouls, really not his day

Forster-Caskey: 4- Disappointing set pieces considering his usual quality, struggled with the physicality

Roberts: 4.5- Lost composure in the final third when the chances arose, looked off the pace at times

Norris: 5.5- Held up the ball well, a menace to the Stockport back 3, unlucky with a couple of half chances but didn't get the service his robust performance deserved

Rose: 4.5- Relentless running, his brilliant leap allowed the team to build half chances around him, not much of a sniff for him in front of goal
