Stevenage grabbed a point in a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Morecambe at the Lamex on Saturday.
Luke Norris' first goal for the club forced a share of the spoils in another bright Boro performance.
Despite Morecambe looking to close out the game, Boro pushed on for a well-deserved equaliser in the 82nd minute.
Alex Revell made four changes from Tuesdays defeat to Exeter, with Chris Lines, Luther Wildin, Joe Martin and Arthur Read coming in for Romain Vincelot, Romeao Hutton, Ben Coker and Jack Smith.
Morecambe made two changes from their 1-0 loss at Tranmere on Saturday with Alex Kenyon and Aaron Wildig replacing the suspended Yann Songo'o and the injured Adam Phillips.
The first action of the game came from Morecambe. In the second minute the ball was flicked round the corner of the backline to Wildig who smashed it into the side netting.
The former Shrewsbury Town midfielder had another chance two minutes later when a ball was floated into the back post but misplaced his header over the bar. A let off for Boro.
The first goal of the game came in the eighth minute.
A free kick was aimed towards the back post, the ball ricochet to Elliot List who fired low and hard into the far bottom right corner to give Boro the lead.
The Shrimps applied the pressure from the restart and in the 20th minute equalised.
A cross from the right-hand side evaded everyone bar Toumani Diagouraga who slotted into the empty net.
Three minutes later Morecambe took the lead when a counter attack led to Carl Stockton receiving the ball on the ride side of the box before cutting inside and firing into the top right corner for his sixth goal of the season.
Boro went into half time frustrated after such a positive opening period and they came out for the second half with a high tempo and with attacking energy.
Stevenage started the half bright but with no end product. Revell turned to the bench and the substitution of Danny Newton paid off in the 82nd minute
The forward's shot was deflected into the path of Norris who leapt highest to guide the ball into the bottom corner for his first goal for the club.
Boro were in the ascendency and despite a flurry of late chances, failed to capitalise and had to settle for a draw.
Despite the result, the Boro boss told Nub News after the match that he was 'encouraged' by his team's resilience and determination to search for the equaliser, and will be looking for the same levels of performance against Tranmere on Tuesday.
