Stevenage 2-2 Morecambe: PLAYER RATINGS

Stevenage drew 2-2 with promotion-chasing Morecambe at the Lamex on Saturday afternoon.

An Elliot List finish in the eight minute and Luke Norris' first goal for the club were enough to cap off a relatively bright performance from the Hertfordshire outfit.

Read on to find out which players impressed.

Stevenage

David Stockdale: 6 - Maybe could've done better for the second goal, led his backline well

Luther James-Wildin: 6 - Good partnership with List down the right side and developed a good battle with Hendrie, constantly up and down the line and looked lively

Ross Marshall: 6.5 - Solid as ever, key headers and blocks kept the scoreline even

Terrence Vancooten: 6.5 – Calm and composed throughout, looked to play forward at every opportunity and kept Stockton to limited chances

Joe Martin: 6 – Bustled down the left hand side and some quality set pieces resulted in the first goal

Jack Aitchinson: 6.5 – Looked to drive forward at every opportunity, unlucky to not of score but for a last-ditch block

Arthur Read: 6.5 – Bright in a scrappy midfield battle before being subbed for Pett

Chris Lines: 7 - Oozes quality in the middle of the park, some brilliant passes opened up the opposition defence. MOTM

Elliot List: 6.5 – Looked lively throughout and great finish for the goal, a constant menace for the fullback

Matty Stevens: 6 – Not much service to his feet forced the loanee to run in behind and feed off loose balls, worked hard with little impact

Luke Norris: 6.5 - Worked hard and pressed the backline all game, brilliant leap and header for the equaliser

Substitutions:

Carter (for List): 7

Newton (for Stevens): 7

Pett (for Read): 6.5

Coker (for Marshall): 6

...................

Morecambe

Letheren: 6 – Vocal and made a few key saves before the eqauliser

Hendrie: 6.5 - Struggled against an energetic right-hand side of Wildin and List but prevented any real danger

Knight-Percival: 7 - Solid at the back and led the line well, composed on the ball

Lavelle: 6.5 - Made some key blocks just after half time

Diagouraga: 6.5 - Imposing performance from the big midfielder, looked to play the ball forward and drive when he had the ball at his feet

Stockton: 6.5 - Top finish for his goal, not much service other than that

Wildig: 6 – Should've converted one of his two chances in the first few minutes, looked to create in the middle of the park albeit no reward

Mendes Gomes: 6 - Looked bright and wanted to carry the ball up the pitch, caused problems for Wildin with his pace

Kenyon: 6 – Solid in midfield against an imposing Lines and lively Read

O'Sullivan: 6 – Worked a good partnership with Cooney down the right flank but was kept relatively defensive by Aitchinson's attacking runs

Cooney: 6 – Kept Aitchinson relatively quiet but failed to make any progress down his wing

Lyons (for O'Sullivan): 6
