Step into the darker side of creativity at the Hitchin Alternative Art Market, taking place at Hitchin Town Hall on Sunday 20 September 2026.

More than 30 independent artists, makers and alternative traders will be bringing together an eclectic mix of gothic, whimsical, witchy, macabre and unusual artwork, handmade gifts, jewellery, homeware, curiosities and more.

Taking place just days before the Autumn Equinox, the market is a celebration of independent creativity and the changing season, with plenty to discover from artists and small businesses from Hitchin and further afield.
