A grassroots football predictions initiative is quietly transforming how we talk about mental health, belonging, and community connection—especially among men who might not otherwise engage.

Led by local advocate Katie Wilson, the project invites fans to submit simple match predictions each week, using football as a gentle bridge to conversation and connection. With clear scoring, no pressure, and a focus on inclusion, it's designed to welcome everyone—especially those who feel on the margins of traditional fan spaces.

Katie, a trans woman and long-time community builder, says the project is about "creating spaces where people feel seen, not judged. Football is the hook—but the real goal is connection."

The initiative is currently seeking support from local clubs, charities, and venues to get on board and help promote the project.

Whether you're a die-hard fan or just curious, this project offers a low-barrier way to get involved, challenge stigma, and build something meaningful—one prediction at a time.
