HITCHIN: Were you driving on the M25 at junction 17 late afternoon on Wednesday (September 22) as police would like to talk to you.

Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic at junction 17, just after 420pm on Wednesday when a grey Yamaha motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car.

The collision resulted in the motorcyclist being taken to hospital by helicopter with serious injuries.

Sergeant James Wood, from the BCH Road Policing Unit, said: "We are particularly looking for dash cam footage of the vehicles involved to establish the circumstances around the collision.

"As part of this, we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

"Did you see the collision itself or capture footage at around this time? If you can help, please contact us."

Anyone with information is asked to please email [email protected] or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR535 of 22 September.
